What happens if a cleaner damages an item?
From time to time, a cleaner can damage something within the home. We understand that this can be frustrating. Broken items don't happen often, but rest assured, SnapApp is here to help. Reach out to support@snapapp.app and we will respond ASAP.
We recognize that most pets are super friendly, but we do ask that you provide a safe, pet free area for the SnapApp Pro to perform their duties. Pet's can be kept in a separate room, just let our cleaners know in advance.

- You'll get a notification when a cleaner has claimed your job, and another notification when your job is about to start
- The cleaner is paid through SnapApp upon completion, and you can also tip through the app.

What is the ‘Security Assurance’ fee?
The Security Assurance Fee is used maintain rigorous onboarding for all of our cleaners. We thoroughly vet, background check, and interview every cleaner we bring on to our team. The fee helps keep the prices of our cleans competitive, and among the lowest in the industry. We take safety and security seriously, and we have a rigorous onboarding process for all of our cleaners to keep everyone safe!

Is there a fee for cancelling, rescheduling, or otherwise missing a cleaning?
We work hard to maintain a quality marketplace for both pros and customers alike. Some scenarios will requires SnapApp to charge a customer for the efforts made by our Pros. When a scenario requires a customer to be charged, the entire payment, minus any processing charges, is transferred to the Pro. Below is our Disincentives and Cancellation policy:
Disincentives and Cancellation Policy In the interest of encouraging responsible use of the Platform, Licensor imposes and Licensee hereby agrees to accept certain fees levied in instances of Licensee’s cancellations of services with insufficient or no notice provided to the Platform. Generally, Licensee may cancel a scheduled job, or reschedule a job, within five (5) minutes of posting without incurring a fee. However, Licensee will incur the following fees: (i) $40 USD where Licensee cancels or reschedules a service within two (2) hours of the service starting; (ii) $10 USD where Licensee cancels or reschedules a service within twenty-four (24) hours but more than two (2) hours of the service starting; and (iii) $40 USD where Licensee does not appear at or prevents a Service Provider from performing the requested service. Licensee hereby authorizes Licensor to apply these fees to Licensee via Licensee’s Payment Method and to remit the amounts to the Service Provider, minus processing charges.
